Summer Bucklist Ideas for Little Ones

Last weekend, I asked Spencer what he would like to do during the summer. We started a tradition of creating a summer bucket list last year and it was great to write down some of the fun activities that we wanted to do as a family. I found that it helped us to add some structure to our days, focus our time on things we wanted to do and explore various (local) places that we dreamt of exploring.

Spencer came up with his bucket list last night. As you can see, I let him include anything that he wanted. I love that he put down going to Palm Springs; he’s definitely related to me. One of his simpler requests was to play with his bubble machine with Emme.

We recently received a Gazillion Bubbles Tornado machine and my kids were so excited to try it out and rightfully so. This machine is a must-have for the summer months. It blows up to 4500 bubbles in a minute and has an auto-feed feature so you don’t have to stand around re-filling the liquid . My kids were in bubble heaven playing with it. It would make a great stay-at-home, outdoor activity or addition to a birthday party. Who knew that bubbles could be that mesmerizing? I’ve linked information on the bubble machine below.

My next step is to compile a family list that includes some of the activities and places that David and I would like to explore. If there are any that you recommend, I would love to hear them.
