Clean Stain Remover

I’ve come to the conclusion that my kids don’t really need play clothes and “good” clothes. If my kids wants to wear their “dress” clothes just because, I’m okay with that. That said, they spend a lot of time outside riding their bikes, having watergun fights, making mud pies, etc. A day doesn’t go by where their clothes don’t get stained with something.

I’ve been making my own stain remover for a few months now but I didn’t have any containers to store it in so I would make it whenever I needed it, and just enough to use for whatever clothes needed extra cleaning. I’m not going to lie, it was annoying not having some prepaid that I could use whenever I needed it.

I came across these glass roller bottles and had them in my cart for some time. I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend the money on them but finally decided to bite the bullet and boy am I glad I did.

I wanted glass ones because I’m trying to reduce the amount of plastic we have in our house. At this point. the kids aren’t using them so there is less of a chance that they will break. Next, they are 30ml in size. Let’s just say I won’t have to make another batch for quite some time. The ones that I ordered came in a pack of 4. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll need 4 of them for stain remover ( I made 2) but I could just it for something. I’m actually thinking of making a Thieves roller that I will keep in the car. A friend made one for me last Winter and the kids and I used it all of the time. I kept it in the car and we usually put it on on the way to school.

Below is the recipe for the stain remover. It makes enough to fill one 30ml roller.

If you make the stain remover, I’d love to hear about it (or tag me on Instagram @jo_annerene).
