5 Holiday Outfit Ideas

Christmas is literally around the corner and like many, it seems like I have so much to do. I’m hoping that this Christmas is a bit slower for us this year. I find that the season comes early and is gone before I even know it. I really want to be intentional about spending time with my family.

Last week I posted some outfit ideas for kids. (You can see it here.) There were quite a few people interested in some Christmas outfit ideas after my last try-on session so I thought I’d post some affordable outfits for various occasions. Here’s hoping this helps take one more thing off of your Christmas season to do list.

I’ve tried on some of these outfits and absolutely loved them. If you get one, I’d love to know and share it as well. Here’s to looking as stunning as ever this holiday season!

1. Green dress. This is beyond comfortable. I loved this one when I tried it on. It’s also super affordable. Tassel earrings and heels.
2. Blush shirt. Blush is the color of the season and looks flattering on many skin tones. Faux leather pants. I have had my eyes on these for quite a while. When I tried them on in the store, they didn’t have my size but I still loved them. I have been watching them online for a long time and finally found them in my size on the US site so I bought them. I paired this look with a classy (easy-to-walk-in) mule and a pair of earrings that are not too over-the-top. This look would be great for various ages and is nursing-friendly for those looking for that option.

3. I never know how much I LOVE metallic until the Christmas season approaches. I, seriously, want to get this next outfit for Christmas even though I might only be wearing it to church. The metallic skirt is the perfect length to look put together (sometimes if it’s a little short, it can go wrong in many ways. If you know what I mean.) This poof-sleeve is more glam and that’s why I love it. I would even wear it later with a pair of dark jeans and heels for a dinner out. Just to add a final pop, I’ve paired this outfit with a pair of neutral heels that have some rhinestone detail to add the finishing touches.

4. If you’re looking for something more toned down and neutral this season, this next outfit is perfect. Sometimes (or most of the time), we want to look put-together but want to feel comfortable. If you’re going out for dinner or going to a Christmas party at a friend’s, this is the perfect outfit. Nothing says comfortable like an over-sized sweater. I’ve paired it with a super affordable pair of Faux leather pants. These ones are thinner than the last. I also love this neutral boot that can be dressed up and down. Finally I’ve added statement earrings that make this more of an evening look.

5. This velour dress. Need I say more. I really wish I had somewhere that I could wear this. It is absolutely stunning. This is another glam look so I went with statement earrings and a neutral heel (I linked a similar pair) with the right amount of bling on the back.
